College Battle Announces Regional Winners

The first round of winners in the SESAC-sponsored College Battle have been determined and they are:

- Northeast Battle winners: The Bailen Brothers (NYU)
- Midwest Battle winners: Phonetic One (University of Wisconsin)
- Southeast Battle winners: The Lonely Biscuits (Belmont University)

The next round of contenders will converge at the Southwest Battle in Austin, Texas on 4/19/12, the Pacific South Battle in Los Angeles, CA on 5/2/12 and the Pacific North Battle in Seattle, WA on 5/4/12.  Each Regional winner wins cash prizing from SESAC and College Battle, gear prizing from Ernie Ball, Propellerhead Software with the Reason Balance, AMPEG and O.N.E. Coconut Water, and automatically advances to the National Finale in Los Angeles, CA in June.  They then compete for the chance to win a recording session at The Village Studios with Grammy®-winning engineer Andrew Scheps (Adele, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Jay-Z) and an opening slot on the fall Textbooks & Tickets Tour.  Fans can vote for their favorite artists at www.CollegeBattle.com.
