NSAI Song Camp July 20-22, 2012
Song Camp is a staple of NSAI’s annual educational events. Everyone is welcome at Song Camp. Whether you write country or pop, rock or rap, Christian or folk...even if you just write lyrics...if you are the next Justin Bieber or Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift or Adele, Song Camp is for you! New friends, new co-writers and new outlooks on every aspect of songwriting are discovered at Song Camp.
During the Song Camp experience you can expect guest faculty and special appearances from some of Nashville’s top hit-makers. Learn where to go from those who've already been there! Our faculty includes Rick Beresford (Belmont University and Kerrville Folk Festival faculty), Jason Blume (hits by Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys), Liz Hengber (four Reba hits), Don Henry (Grammy-winning "Where've You Been" - Kathy Mattea / "All Kinds of Kinds" - Miranda Lambert), James Dean Hicks (“Goodbye Time” – Blake Shelton), Chuck Jones (“Your Love Amazes Me” – John Berry), and Angela Kaset ("Something In Red" - Lorrie Morgan).
All attendees will receive multiple song critiques. Pre-submitted songs will be used to place each attendee with the most appropriate of our dedicated faculty. Class exercises will stress techniques and strategies for all aspects of songwriting.
Now it's YOUR chance to experience this incredible and life-changing songwriting event. Our next Song Camp is July 20-22. For more information and to register, visit nashvillesongwriters.com.
